I’m a UK-based freelance photographer based in Shrewsbury, specialising in live music, promotional, and street photography. My work is all about capturing authentic moments — the atmosphere of performance, the emotion of the crowd, and the character of the people behind the music.

My journey into photography began simply: taking my camera along to gigs and festivals I was already attending. Before long, my images caught the eye of local bands and promoters, leading to regular work at regional events and eventually becoming one of the house photographers at Albert’s Shed, a well-known live music venue in Shrewsbury. That experience cemented my passion for documenting live performance — the movement, energy, and connection that only music can create.

LOUD+CLEAR is my dedicated photography service for the music industry, designed specifically for PR and media professionals, promoters, artist management teams, and touring musicians.

My aim is always to capture the spirit and individuality of each artist with clarity and creativity.

Alongside my music work, I offer RED DOT, a tailored service for artists, galleries, and creative institutions. This includes artwork documentation, exhibition coverage, and promotional photography for both digital and print use — all designed to present creative work at its best, with consistency and a refined visual style.

Life and Inspiration

I live in Shrewsbury with my partner Donna, who practices the Japanese art of Kintsugi in her home studio and has developed her own brand of Kintsugi-inspired jewellery. Shrewsbury is a wonderfully creative town — home to a thriving arts community and a vibrant live music scene that continually inspires my work.

Being within easy reach of Birmingham and Manchester means I’m never far from the action — whether that’s photographing touring artists, discovering new venues, or exploring the street culture that often finds its way into my images.

My passion for street photography complements my live music work, helping me stay visually alert and attuned to unguarded, storytelling moments — the kind that give each project its emotional depth. My photography has been exhibited locally and at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography.

In addition to photography, I also work as a web content editor for an online magazine covering arts, culture, and entertainment, which keeps me closely connected to the wider creative world.
